Legendary Pictures metformin 1000 mg dosage had a surprise for those in attendance at the San Diego Comic Con: the first official image of Godzilla. Currently in development for a 2012 release, the new film will reportedly feature a king of the monsters much closer to the Toho version than the abomination that graced movie screens in 1998. In the initial anouncement for the project, Legendary CEO Thomas Tull said to Variety:
“Godzilla is one of the world’s most powerful pop culture icons, and we at Legendary are thrilled to be able to create a modern epic based on this long-loved Toho franchise. Our plans are to produce the Godzilla that we, as fans, would want to see. We intend to do justice to those essential elements that have allowed this character to remain as pop-culturally relevant for as long as it has.”
Although sources remain at odds over whether or not the image is indicative of the final design, the artwork here shows a Godzilla that is definately more Honda than Emmerich. It actually appears closest to the “Millennium Godzilla” with pronounced, jagged dorsal spines seen in Godzilla 2000, Godzilla X Megaguiras, and later in a revised form in Godzilla X Mechagodzilla, and Godzilla: Tokyo SOS. Little else is known about the project thus far, but if this design is any indication, things are looking very promising indeed.
