In the Marvel comic, Moira is a scientist specializing in genetic mutation who was instrumental in the founding of the X-Men with Charles Xavier. She was also at one time his fiancé.
Rose Byrne is known for her work in the television series Damages as well as appearances in 28 Weeks Later, Sunshine, and Star Wars: Episode II. She’s gorgeous, so my guess is this movie will mainly center around Professor X and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) fighting over her by trying to one up each other with a series of increasingly extravagant romantic gestures.
