So the news that he is going to “bang out a script” for his long-gestating Thanksgiving is hardly like Christmas come early. Obviously, the project had its genesis with Grindhouse, wherein it was one of the “fake trailers” and now he will be developing it into a feature length film with his writing partner Jeff Rendell once he is done with press obligations for The Last Exorcism. Roth said:
“… I said that his deal is he has to work on the script while I’m promoting ‘The Last Exorcism,’ and as soon as I’m done in mid-September he’s going to fly to California, we’re going to sit down, and bang out the script.”
Roth is probably the worst writer/director this side of Uwe Boll so anticipation for this film surely runs high and deep. I’m just kidding of course, this film will be terrible.
