It had one of those, “O…K… I think I’ll stop caring about the plot now, but I just can’t look away - this is too much fun!” scripts and the most absurd take on biblical lore in recent memory, but then again it also had Paul Bettany and Dennis Quaid, who looks as confused as ever. It’s hard to tell from this trailer if Stewart’s followup, Priest, will be an improvement or just more of the same, but I can tell that it looks significantly more complicated. If Priest is anything like Legion, complicated might not be such a good thing, but with Bettany, Karl Urban, Maggie Q, and Christopher Plummer on board, count me in!
