Steve Buscemi is in this

Yes, I did side effects 0f metformin know he was in Reservoir Dogs. Calm down.

We’ve all been there. We’re watching a movie or TV show that maybe we don’t know a whole lot about, and then Steve Buscemi comes onscreen. If you’re like me, it’s usually a moment filled with more joy than you could possibly explain in words so you just yell, “Steve Buscemi is IN THIS?” And then the people you’re watching whatever show with tell you to shut up.

Whatever. Steve Buscemi sightings should always be celebrated. Here are 5 of my favorite Buscemi moments that caught me off-guard in the best way possible.

That's the back of his head. I just thought the bookstore owners looked more comical than Steve Buscemi for once.

1. Porlandia, “Farm” episode (2011). Steve Buscemi plays a guy hassled by two store employees for using the restroom without buying anything in the store. This was the moment (besides this extremely accurate musical number) that I knew this show was going to be mildly amusing.

Ladies love a man in suspenders.

2. Big Fish (2003). Steve shows up in an out-of-the-way, shoeless town as a poet who went missing years before. Absolutely adorable.

Remember when it was okay to like Sandra Bullock? I miss those days.

3. 28 Days (2000). Sometimes I forget that Steve Buscemi can play understated (read: not completely weird). In this film, he gets to play a fairly sane former addict and counselor at a rehab clinic.

Steve Buscemi plays "visibly uncomfortable" very well.

4. Ghost World (2001). Besides being a movie about teenage girls that doesn’t completely suck, Mr. Buscemi has a prominent role as Seymour, a pushover record collector who catches Enid’s (Thora Birch in an almost bearable role) attention.

Aww, young Steve Buscemi.

5. Vibes (1988). In my favorite of all Steve sightings, he briefly plays Cyndi Lauper’s gambler ex-boyfriend who just uses her psychic powers for money. At least that opened the door for Jeff Goldblum’s character to swoop in and take her. (Yes, this movie is as awesome as it sounds.)
