The film marks only the second time Pixar has recycled previous material instead of generating new content (three if you count Toy Story twice). This trailer suggests a lot of emphasis on the spy movie theme. The best thing I feel to come from this addition is a return to the unique ‘Cars’ universe. I do find the set-up they’ve created rather interesting – a world made up only of vehicles with no drivers. The trailer even answers a main question for the logistics of such a world: How do cars use the bathroom?
