Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann to Reprise ‘Knocked Up’ Roles
For Judd Apatow’s fourth directorial effort he will return to his 2007 hit comedy Knocked Up. The new film will further explore the relationship between Debbie, the older sister of Katherine Heigl’s character, and her rock band talent-scouting, fantasy baseball-playing husband, Pete. Both Paul Rudd and Apatow’s wife, Leslie Mann, will reprise their roles.
Gareth Edwards to Direct Godzilla
Kaiju fans worldwide, the wait is over. We now know who will direct Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla, set to hit theaters in 2012, and it happens to be someone with a bit of experience in the field. Gareth Edwards, a British independent filmmaker best known for last year’s low-budget, yet highly-acclaimed Monsters, will now take on the greatest monster of them all.

I confess I have not seen enough of Pete Postlethwaite’s work to properly write a commemorative passage on the British character actor. Though, from what I have seen, I will say that the kind of presence and attention he demands on screen puts him up against any of the best character actors you could find.
